Compassion Cultivation Training is a program of CCARE at Stanford University. CCARE investigates methods for cultivating compassion and promoting altruism within individuals and society through rigorous research, scientific collaborations, and academic conferences.
CMSC was founded four years ago by Kristin Neff, PhD, and Christopher Germer, PhD, as a worldwide resource for Mindful Self-Compassion. CMSC's mission is to contribute to a more compassionate world through cultivating deep understanding and personal practice of Mindful Self-Compassion.
